EMKG 2.2

The EMKG 2.2 compact app gives you on-site an overview of hazards by inhalation and by skin contact. This is a compact version of the "Easy-to-use workplace control scheme for hazardous substances - EMKG", which offers in-depth information on the risk assessment of specific activities or application situation.

The EMKG is an easy and fast way to derive control strategies with only little information. The control strategy is represented by control guidance sheets that describe measures for typical working activities. All control guidance sheets are available in this app.

You can find the required information for the input parameter in the safety data sheet of the hazardous substance (classification and labelling, physical state, boiling point or vapour pressure) and in the situation at your workplace (quantity, release, duration).

New features are the risk assessment for wet work and a text search - you can find the number of R-phrases or H-statements by entering words contained in the phrase or statement.

The app is available in English and German (depending on the system language of your mobile device).

Currently we are working on a bug concerning some Android-Smartphones: Sometimes the text search is misrepresented with black font on a black input field. As a result you cannot read your entries, but the there is no influence on the functionality.
